JULY 3RD AT MEMORIAL PARK

5:30 PM to 8:45 PM - Food Tent / Grilled Food, Soft Drinks, Ice Cream and More

Cash is preferred for purchases (due to limited electronic capabilities)

5:30 PM to 8:00 PM - Children's Entertainment - Pony Rides, Face Painting and More

6:30 PM: Pie Eating Contest

7:00 PM to 9:15 PM / Dusk: Concert: Reminisants, Boston's Best Oldie’s Band

At Dark: Fireworks Spectacular

Please respect Memorial Park by "packing out" what you bring into the Park. Please take your trash with you or place in or next to the trash receptacles. On the synthetic turf, food, snacks or candy of any kind (i.e. gum, sunflower seeds) are not permitted, and water is the only beverage allowed.

Children with their parents are encouraged to decorate a bicycle and ride or simply walk in the Children's Parade. To participate meet at Greene’s Field no later than 8:45 AM on the morning of July 4th.


ROAD CLOSURE ADVISORY (PRELIMINARY)

JULY 3RD

Residence/Visitors should be aware that there will be parking restrictions in place in the area of the High School, primarily Highland Ave/Webster St and the adjacent side streets between Great Plain Ave to West St.

Road closings will begin at 5:00 PM:

  • Rosemary St. (from Webster St. to Highland Ave.)
  • Close Kingsbury St. @ Webster St
  • Fair Oaks Pkwy. (from Kingsbury St. to May St.)
  • Warren St. (from Kingsbury St. to May St.)
  • Pickering St. (from Kingsbury St to May St.)
  • Rosemary St. at Hillside Ave. (no traffic up Rosemary St.)
  • Highland Ave. at Carey Rd. (DNE Carey)
  • Webster St. at Carey Rd. (DNE Carey)
  • Highland Ave. at Oakland Ave. (DNE Oakland)


JULY 4TH

To facilitate both the YMCA Road Race and Parade Residence/Visitors should expect numerous road closures starting at approximately 8:00 AM and ending between 10:30 AM and 11:00 AM.

This is to include:

  • Needham Center (Great Plain Ave between Nehoiden and Warren, Chapel St, Highland Ave From Great Plain Ave to Webster St at Station 2)
  • Webster St from Great Plain Ave to Highland Ave
  • Highland Ave from Webster to Great Plain Ave.
