Each year the Needham Exchange Club with the Needham Exchange Foundation offer a $3,000 scholarship to a high school senior from Needham who will pursue further educational opportunities and has been actively involved in service to others.

• The scholarship recognizes a Needham resident who has achieved academic success over four years while also engaging in extracurricular activities that benefit other students and/or members of the Needham Community at large.
• Applicants are evaluated on the basis of their extracurricular involvement and service to others as well as their academic accomplishments.
• As the Needham Exchange Club is a community service organization, applicants’ ability to discuss their service activities and what these have meant to them will be a major element in selecting the winner. Financial need may also be considered.

We encourage anyone who meets the criteria for this scholarship to submit an application using this form. The application will require an essay about your community service, two reference letters from individuals who have observed your community service work, a copy of your academic transcript and a copy of one of your college application recommendations. The completed application is due no later than April 15, 2025.
