2025 Fourth of July Parade - Community Participant Registration

NEEDHAM EXCHANGE CLUB FOURTH OF JULY PARADE

To be held on July 4th, starting at 9:00 AM

FLOAT REGISTRATION DUE JUNE 23RD, 2025

The Needham Fourth of July Activities are funded and organized solely by the Exchange Club of Needham. It is the intent of the Exchange Club to present a community oriented, non-commercial, non-political, fun and safe activity for the residents of Needham.

Parade Theme

The Dawn of the American Revolution

Parade float should capture an event or key figures associated with the Dawn of the American Revolution, and the spirit of the resistance and the birth of a new nation.

Floats will be judged based on the criteria here.

• Participation is free for community organizations and Needham non-profits. Commercial / business can participate as "Friends of the Parade" for $500.

• A float is defined as anything that will move along the parade route. It will be in good taste and should result in enjoyment for participants and observers. Floats shall abide by Parade policies regarding signs and handouts.

• The Parade is not to be used as a forum for a candidate for political office, or for any organization promoting a cause.

• No swag, fliers, or promotional materials will be distributed to spectators along the route.

• No goods, merchandise, food, or beverages will be sold or distributed to spectators along the route.

Float registration includes agreement with the policies, identification of a contact person, and a description of the float.
